Used GWM Stock Updates and Featured Units: A Landed-Cost Breakdown

If you are sourcing used GWM vehicles from China, the first question from your side is almost always the same: what does a unit actually cost by the time it reaches my yard? The honest answer is that the FOB price is only one line in a longer calculation. This breakdown walks through the components that make up a landed cost, using current stock data from GWM Export and two specific featured units.

GWM Export is an independent exporter. We are not affiliated with GWM. Every unit we list is sourced from the China domestic market and held at our yards in Tianjin or Guangzhou. We publish real mileage, registration dates and photos per listing, and we quote on WhatsApp before you commit.

Cost components at a glance

The table below uses ranges, not single numbers. Your actual figure depends on destination, shipping method, model year and unit condition.

Unit price and MOQ

Our used GWM stock is split across model families. Two of the largest are the Cannon pickup and the Good Cat EV.

The Cannon family covers model years 2019–2026 with a reference FOB price range of $7,500–$19,500. There are 210 units in stock. Featured listings include a 2019 Cannon 2.0T 4WD Elite Standard Cab Pickup with 80,000 km at $10,500 FOB, and a 2023 Cannon 2.0T Commercial Diesel 2WD Elite Long Bed Pickup with 27,000 km at $14,500 FOB. Both are left-hand drive.

The Good Cat family covers 2021–2025 with a reference FOB price range of $5,200–$11,500. There are 49 units in stock. These are also left-hand drive and sourced from the China domestic market.

MOQ is one unit. There is no tooling cost because these are used vehicles, not new production. Sampling is effectively the listing itself: photos, mileage and registration date are published before you inquire.

Shipping and logistics

We hold stock at two yards: Tianjin and Guangzhou. Which port your unit ships from affects transit time and route. Tianjin is typically faster for Russia, Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Guangzhou is often better for Middle East, Africa and Latin America routes.

You have two shipping methods: RoRo and container. RoRo is usually cheaper per unit but offers less protection and follows a fixed schedule. Container gives you more control and protection, and you can consolidate more than one unit. For a single Cannon or Good Cat, RoRo is usually the default. For mixed loads or higher-value units, container is worth the premium.

Inland transport to port is $80–$250 depending on yard and berth. Ocean freight ranges from $600 to $2,500 depending on destination and method. Marine insurance is optional but recommended at 0.3%–0.8% of CIF value.

Duties and taxes at destination

Destination duty is set by the destination country customs authority. It is not something we control. For used passenger cars, duty is often calculated on CIF value at rates between 5% and 35%. Used pickups are sometimes classified differently from passenger cars, which can change the effective rate. Confirm the current schedule with your customs broker before you commit.

VAT or consumption tax may also apply, typically 0%–20%. Some markets apply additional levies based on engine size or vehicle age. We provide the commercial invoice, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Your broker uses these to calculate the final assessment.

Documentation and compliance

Every exported unit travels with a commercial invoice, bill of lading and certificate of origin. Depending on destination, you may also need a pre-shipment inspection certificate or a conformity certificate. We can point you to the standard document set, but we do not issue destination-country compliance documents.

All units we stock are left-hand drive. If your market requires right-hand drive, these units are not suitable. Check registration rules before you buy.

The 2019 Cannon at $10,500 FOB with 80,000 km sits at the lower end of the Cannon range. The 2023 Cannon at $14,500 FOB with 27,000 km sits in the middle. The gap reflects year and mileage more than condition alone. A 2023 unit with 27,000 km is still under typical commercial use thresholds; a 2019 unit at 80,000 km has more wear but a lower entry price.

For the Good Cat, the range of $5,200–$11,500 reflects the 2021–2025 model years. Earlier units with higher mileage sit near the bottom; later units with lower mileage sit near the top. EV-specific import rules apply, so confirm your market accepts used EVs before inquiring.

Landed-cost comparison across options

Below is a realistic comparison for two destinations, using ranges. These are illustrative, not quotes.

Option A: 2019 Cannon to Nigeria (RoRo) - FOB: ~$10,500 - Inland + freight: ~$900–$1,400 - Insurance: ~$50–$80 - Duty (assume 20% of CIF): ~$2,300–$2,500 - Port and clearance: ~$300–$500 - Last mile: ~$200–$400 - Estimated landed: ~$14,250–$15,380

Option B: 2023 Cannon to Kazakhstan (RoRo) - FOB: ~$14,500 - Inland + freight: ~$700–$1,100 - Insurance: ~$60–$90 - Duty (assume 15% of CIF): ~$2,300–$2,400 - Port and clearance: ~$250–$450 - Last mile: ~$150–$350 - Estimated landed: ~$17,960–$18,890

Option C: Good Cat to UAE (Container) - FOB: ~$7,500 (mid-range) - Inland + freight: ~$1,200–$1,800 - Insurance: ~$50–$70 - Duty (assume 5% of CIF): ~$440–$470 - Port and clearance: ~$300–$500 - Last mile: ~$200–$400 - Estimated landed: ~$9,690–$10,740

Notice that duty rate matters more than freight for the Cannon options. A 5% difference in duty on a $14,500 unit is roughly $725, which is more than the freight spread. This is why we ask for your destination before quoting.

How to get a real quote

We do not publish single landed-cost numbers because they would be misleading. Instead, send us your destination port, preferred model family and year range on WhatsApp. We will confirm current stock, share real photos and mileage, and give you an FOB quote plus an estimated freight range. You then confirm duty and tax with your own broker.

Stock moves. The counts above are current as of this update: 210 Cannon units, 49 Good Cat units. Other families are also available. If you are sourcing for Russia, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Nigeria, Kenya, Mexico or Chile, we ship to those destinations regularly from Tianjin and Guangzhou.

GWM Export is an independent exporter and is not affiliated with GWM. We deal in used GWM vehicles sourced from the China domestic market.
